Loaded has struck again in the LDP world! If you’re an LDP fan – and if you’re familiar with the amazing Loaded Fathom, the new Tangent is going to stun you.

The Tangent is a super comfortable performance double-drop bracket board for distance skating. It’s Loaded’s response to those (namely taller riders and those with larger feet/stance) who found the Fathom a bit too small for comfort on those endless distance fitness runs or commutes.
The Tangent is 3″ longer than the Fathom. Like its smaller brother, it’s a super low-riding symmetrical platform equipped with Loaded’s performance Zee Brackets.

This is now Loaded’s lowest and most stable double-drop bracket longboard for maximum speed pushing and cruising. Even lower than the Fathom (running the same wheels).
It might also be the most comfortable ride you’ll ever try – regardless of your height or size. The new maple + basalt lightweight construction gives this new setup a subtle and damp flex for an incredibly smooth and chatter-free ride.
So if you digged the Fathom as an amazing commuter, but wished it was a bit bigger to accommodate your foot size and/or stance, the Tangent might just be your answer.
The larger foot platform (compared to the Fathom) lets you easily adjust your stance over longer distances. It also makes it easier to “skog” – alternate pushing between mongo and regular.
Like the Fathom, the Tangent is desgined to run HUGE wheels that coast forever and roll easily over bumps and cracks. Yet the setup is astonishingly agile and quick-turning.
Speed and momentum is the focus of this new bracket setup, with wheels up to 105mm and responsive trucks. The board is designed for moving fast, maintaining speed, and easy foot breaking.

The Tangent’s low ride height and rocker profile – which wedges the trucks slightly for tighter turning – make it easy to control even at high commuting speeds.
The rocker profile gives you a locked-in, secure feel. The concave tub design is flat in the middle and slopes up towards the side rails of the deck, resulting in comfort, responsiveness, and agility.
The two setups use Paris v2 150mm trucks 50º (optional 43º baseplates for even more stability). You can choose between the enormous 105mm Dad Bod (massive momentum and rollover) or 85mm Caguamas (sharper turns, quicker acceleration, lower stance).
Stay tuned for more about the Tangent on this site. In the meantime, you can check it out here on Loaded’s website.
