Loaded has just released the Symtail, the brand’s latest evolution of the symmetrical, camber flex carver for pumping and flowing through parking garages, city streets, back roads, and more.
Staying true to Loaded’s foundational passion for carving and pumping in a lively flex-camber profile, the Symtail also allows you to explore freestyle and dancing maneuvers with its symmetrical shape and nose and tail kicks.
The Symtail carries on the family heritage that began with the Pintail in 2004 and evolved into the Fattail in 2011.

Like to mix up your turns with some dancing and freestyle flavor?
As dancing and freestyle became increasingly intertwined with carving and pumping, the original Pintail’s minimalist tail grew larger with the Fattail, and now turned into a fully symmetric dual kick with the 2024 Symtail.
Shape
The Symtail’s outline is designed for even flex. Mild concave braces your feet for quick carving, while the topmount camber platform provides responsive performance for an active riding style.
The twin-taper shape with generous wheel cutouts provides ample turning leverage while maximizing clearance for:
- Looser trucks
- Deeper turns
- A wide range of wheel sizes without risers
The nose and tail are gently upturned and have additional fiberglass reinforcement for stiffer response in freestyle tricks.
Construction
Loaded’s signature snowboard-inspired construction features a vertically laminated bamboo core sandwiched between triaxial fiberglass skins. It uses bio-based epoxy by Entropy Resins.
The result is a light weight and durable deck with lively flex characteristics, ideal for hard carving and pumping.
A top layer of cork provides vibration damping for a smoother ride.
Design
the Symtail’s graphics are signed by Nana Studio, based on original artwork by Daisuke Okamoto. The great tree embodies the ultimate aspirations of life with its deep roots, solid core, and broad reaching branches.
The Symtail was designed in collaboration with Loaded ambassador Ari Chamasmany, with his inimitable riding style blend of pumping, dancing, and sliding.
