The Carver Yago Dora Fire Goat Pro Model

The Carver Yago Dora Fire Goat Pro Model

The Yago Dora Fire Goat 30.75″ pro-model is the successor of Carver’s popular Yago Skinny Goat model (same specs).

Yago Dora is a Brazilian pro surfer with a progressive style making him one of the most exciting and progressive surfers of his generation. Rooted in skateboarding, Yago’s style is characterized by his fearless aerial skills, blending massive airs and technical rotations with power and style.

Like the previous version, the latest Yago Dora surf skate is relatively wide at 9.75″, with a decently long 16.75″ wheelbase for a mix of stability and snappiness.

The Fire Goat boats a large (6+”) and wide squash tail and a steep kicktail for Dora-style radical maneuvers. It also features a wide and functional 3.75″ nose kick for pop tricks, manuals, and tail slides.

The deck has a fair amount of concave and raised edges for some solid foot lock-in when ripping it up and doing super tight turns throwing the tail on banks or in the bowl.

The Fire Goat comes fitted with either the Carver C7 or CX truck set. The C7 provides a very carvy, smooth, and responsive feel emulating classic surf with fluid drawn-out curves. The CX provides a snappier type of riding for radical turns and tricks e.g in the skatepark, with a shorter height and a bit more stable ride.

The complete ships with 69mm (soft 78A), square-lipped Carver wheels for solid grip and fast roll.

The artwork on the Fire Goat is quite stunning, depicting a comics-like ferocious, muscular blue and purple goat with small flames all over its body. The graphics are very attractive with cool flashy colors on a white background.
